Task I. Translate the following text from English into Russian in writing.
MORE COCAINE SMUGGLING INTO CANADA
The Secretariat has since been informed by Canadian Customs that the seizure of 521 kg in early May was in fact not cocaine but actually chlorhydrate diethylpropriono[1], which is a controlled substance utilized for manufacturing methamphetamine[2]. The error stems from a preliminary testing of the seized contraband which gave a positive reaction for cocaine whit the narcotic identification kit.
The Bureau of Dangerous Drugs of the Department of Health and Welfare, which is responsible for the analysis and destruction of drugs shipments seized, later identified the drugs as not being cocaine. Readers will recall that the drug was described as “harmless chemical” on the bill of lading and that it had been shipped by sea from Germany addressed to a fictitious chemical firm in Montreal.

2. Контроль пассажиров и груза, прибывающих в страну, осуществляется для взимания таможенных пошлин и с целью предотвращения контрабанды.
